2. Principle

This website uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics and no embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server. No data is passed to third parties when you visit.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its Falkenstein data centre (Germany). When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, HTTP status, referrer and browser identifier.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is operating the website securely and reliably. Log data is kept only as long as needed for operation and security and deleted afterwards.

4. DNS and email forwarding

Domain name resolution (DNS) is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. No page content passes through Cloudflare when you visit the website.

Emails to kontakt@postkapital.net are forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Your address, message and metadata are processed in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Links to other websites, such as portfolio companies or LinkedIn, are only loaded when you click them; the respective provider's privacy policy then applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
